Thank you in advance for your input.

Let me introduce myself...

My name is Suzy Cutbirth. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I have lived in southwest Missouri for the last four decades.I have been an educator for over 25 years with experience as a classroom teacher, teacher leader, and central office administrator. I have worked with curriculum development, assessment, federal program alignment, school improvement planning, and instructional effectiveness.

For the last 12 years I have been affiliated with Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri where I have served as Director and Professional Development Consultant at the Southwest Regional Professional Development Center (SWRPDC). Part of Missouri’s statewide system of support, the SWRPDC serves 94 school districts in southwest Missouri. The Center provides professional learning support for all areas of educational programming K-12. On 9/1/2016, I retired from the SWRPDC with emeritus status. My response to others when they question my ability to 'walk away' from a very busy and fulfilling career supporting educators is simply "I have not retired from the work, I just retired from the grind"!

I am a devoted advocate for learner-centered instructional planning and implementation and have maintained a steadfast focus on the instructional impact that changing standards and expectations have on student learning. I specialize in organizational and instructional planning for student impact and I have had the opportunity to conduct and facilitate workshops at local, regional, state, and national levels.

The purpose of this Wiki site is to provide instructional resources for educators. As you explore the pages (see list of page links on the left), you will find copies of workshop materials and aligned resources for a wide range of instructional topics. I am continuously updating the materials, so I hope you will visit often. I will also be providing links to any upcoming workshops and other professional learning opportunities that I have scheduled. If you cannot find something, or have questions about anything that you do find, please do not hesitate to contact me. My email links are provided at the top of the page.
